Rescues....

Picabo Rescue is dedicated to finding forever homes for Goldens in need. We hope to bring awareness to people and the joys a rescue can bring. Although I am a breeder, I encourage adoption/rescue before purchasing that cute cuddly puppy.

Below are a few of rescue's we currently have placed. Check back with us for others which might not be listed yet. The dog's short story is next to them. Won't you find it in your heart to give them a second chance? We did.

Saving one dog will not change the world... but surely, the world will be changed for that one dog..... Author Unknown.

Meet Kobe....
Kobe was given to us by his breeder. He was 8 weeks old and had been returned to his breeder by his new owner
as he had an auto immune reaction to his puppy shots. This caused him to be paralyzed in the back legs.
Through working with him and special medicine we decided to place him in a wonderful home with someone who knew
just how to take care of him. He now resides with Tracy Arthur in New Jersey and he is now fine.
Tracy also does rescue for GRRI-NJ. Thanks Tracy for taking wonderful care of Kobe.

Meet Darcy....
Darcy
came to us from a family that had to relocate to China. Being that Darcy was 5 years old and the family
was afraid to take her with them, they had tried several families but she had been returned because of other dogs
in the family no getting along with her. A special woman came and fell in love with her.
She has since been adopted and is doing great. Another success story!

Meet Sadie....
Sadie came to us from a soldier that was being deployed to Iraq. He needed to place this rambunctious
girl of 9 months as soon as possible. We gladly took her into foster her and within 3 weeks
she was in her forever home. She and her owner were very special. Good Luck Sadie....

Meet Lexi....
Lexi came to us from a terrible ordeal. Seems as though she was thrown from a moving car.
She had some bruising on her legs but aside from that, she was a wonderful pup. She has found a
forever home with Dylan her human friend and Milligan her canine friend.
She has a wonderful home best wishes to the entire family and to Maureen and John for giving her a second chance.
